Welcome to Mission Chess, Atlanta's premier destination for chess tournaments catering to kindergarten through 12th-grade students. Led by a dedicated team of chess enthusiasts, Mission Chess is committed to fostering young minds and promoting the growth of chess around the world.
Led by Rehan and Safra Simpson as well as Anna Baumstark, Mission Chess hopes to increase Atlanta’s Presence in the Chess community by increasing the availability of chess tournaments.

Rehan Simpson is a high schooler that has been playing chess for 10 years. He has played both statewide and national tournaments and is a Club Level Tournament Director. Rehan is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Mission Chess.
Safra Simpson is a middle schooler, that shares an increasing love and passion for the game of chess. She has played in both statewide, and national tournaments. She is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Mission Chess.
Anna is a certified Tournament Director and has been teaching scholastic chess at Cliff Valley, IHM, Intown Community School and others. In addition to teaching chess, she served on the board of the Georgia Chess Association.
